High Tech Iphone Retro PhotoIs there anyone out there (thats old enough) that didn’t own a Polaroid camera? I remember when one of those little fold up leatherette SX-70 cameras was about as high tech as you could get. Listening to the little motor grind as the picture fed out of the hopper, warming the picture against your chest or waving it in mid-air in the hopes of hastening the developing process. The camera is a dinosaur, and its demise marked the end of an era.

Or did it? Who knew there was a whole bunch of us out there that still loved the instant photo? Well, The Impossible Instant Lab will make you smile, while it bridges the gap between digital and concrete, by taking the photos stored away on your iPhone and turning them into actual Polaroid-esque prints, to have, and to hold, or simply to give away.

Iphone classic phoneThe old and the new worlds collide with the $49.99 iClassic Phone Docking Station. As you should be able to deduce from the name of the device itself, it will sport a classic phone design – receiver and all, although there is a docking port available for you to dock your iPhone inside. Basically, whenever you receive a call on your iPhone, you can pick up the receiver on the iClassic Phone Docking Station and start talking away.

It is nice to know that the iClassic Phone Docking Station plays nice with your handset’s very own AC charger, and will come with built-in volume slide switch as well as a receive/disconnect button, accompanied by a flashing blue “light ring” call indicator, and will play nice with majority of the smartphones out there.

Square DisplayJust what are Samsung Electronics up to these days? I know that their parent arm, Samsung Electronics, must still be mulling over the fine which they were slapped with concerning their legal battle with Apple that concluded recently. Well, just to take your minds off things for the moment would be Samsung Electronics’ latest introduction of an LED square display as well as a transparent display, and I think personally, I am far more interested in the latter than the former as it has a more science fiction feel to it.

Well, the recent announcement at IFA 2012 in Berlin will showcase the availability of innovative 1:1 ratio LED square display (UD22B) and transparent display (NL22B), further accelerating the South Korean company’s leadership in the commercial B2B display market for the second half of 2012.

Iphone FanGlobal warming? No kidding. This summer has been brutal. With temperatures in the hundreds for the last few days I am willing to try anything to stay cool. Luckily we have air conditioning in the house, but I can’t stay home just because its hot. We have places to go and people to see, whether I want to or not! Maybe it wouldn’t feel so darn miserable if there were a bit of a breeze…

Check out the iPhone Dock Fan from Talme, it simply plugs into the charging port of your iPhone and uses your power supply to keep the breeze blowing. Able to run for up to six hours on a full charge, the iPhone Dock Fan may be just what you need to get through your kids next 4 sessions of sports camp.
